At BomPixel we take our clients' privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal information, in accordance with Costa Rica's Law 8968 on the Protection of Persons Regarding the Processing of Their Personal Data.
Data controller

Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when subscribing to our services or contacting us: full name, email address, phone number, business name, business address and any other information you share through the contact form or WhatsApp. We also automatically collect technical data such as your IP address and approximate location (country) to display prices in your local currency.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data based on: (a) the performance of the subscription contract between you and BomPixel; (b) your explicit consent when providing your data; (c) our legitimate interest in improving our services and communicating relevant updates to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
How we use your information
We use your information to: create and maintain your website, communicate with you about your account and service, send service updates and notifications, process subscription payments, improve our products and services, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell, trade or transfer your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. We only share data with providers necessary to operate our service: Vercel (web hosting), WhatsApp/Meta (client communication) and payment processing providers. All these providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it exclusively for the contracted service.
International data transfers
By using providers such as Vercel and WhatsApp/Meta, your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside Costa Rica, including the United States. These providers comply with adequate data protection standards and we are committed to ensuring that such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We retain your personal data while your subscription is active and for a period of 12 months after cancellation, so we can reactivate your service if you wish. After that period, your data will be deleted from our systems, except for data we are required to retain for legal or tax obligations.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses only essential cookies for its operation: location detection (country) to display prices in your local currency and language preference. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics. No additional consent is required for these essential cookies under applicable legislation.
Data protection
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. This includes the use of encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to personal data and periodic review of our security practices.
Your rights
Under Law 8968, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, delete your data when it is no longer necessary, object to the processing of your data, and request the portability of your data. To exercise these rights, send an email to mzpizote@gmail.com stating your request. We will respond within a maximum of 5 business days. If you believe your rights have not been addressed, you may file a complaint with PRODHAB (Costa Rica's Data Protection Agency).
Minors
Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. In the event of substantial changes, we will notify you by email or WhatsApp at least 15 days in advance. The current version will always be available on this page with its update date.
